Event Details:

Chatham Rise is a Psychedelic/Shoegaze/Space Rock band from Minneapolis, Minnesota that has recently wrapped up their third full-length LP, Trillium, releasing July 25 with Infinite Spin Records.

Chatham Rise have been lucky enough throughout their career to have shared the stage with bands such as My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus & Mary Chain, LUNA, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Spectrum, LOOP, Rain Parade, Black Mountain, Temples, The Chills, The Horrors, and more. The band members are all huge music fans, so being able to play live along with their favorite bands is the ultimate experience and compliment.

Chatham Rise were 2014 SXSW Official Showcasing Artists playing the Levitation showcase with The Black Lips, Temples, Blouse, No Joy, GOASTT, Bo Ningen, Holy Wave, and more. The band also played the 2015 Desert Stars Festival along with Rain Parade, Swervedriver, Dead Meadow, Alex Maas (of Black Angels), Lou Barlow, and more and performed at the 2013 Austin Psych Fest Pre-party with Rain Parade, Allah-las, Fairfield Parlour and more, Milwaukee Psych Fest in 2013, 2017, and 2023.

Chatham Rise played their first gig at 7th St Entry in the summer of 2010 and the very next day went out on the road, ending their run at the first Deep Heaven Now Festival in Boston, where they were able to play with and see many of their favorite bands.

The single leading into the Trillium LP Release, "Angus Says", features guest vocals from Paula Kelley of legendary Boston shoegaze band, Drop Nineteens. "Angus Says" has now been played on radio stations around the world from Seattle to Rome to Plovdiv to Greensboro to Hong Kong to Los Angeles to Thessaloniki to Hermosillo to Minneapolis.

The new record Trillium also features guest guitar from Mark Refoy (Spacemen 3, Spiritualized, Slipstream) on "Riddle Remix" and guitar from our good friend Josh Richardson of Flavor Crystals on "Here She Comes".
