Event Details:
For the first time since 2017, former Artistic Partner Thomas Zehetmair reunites with the SPCO for one of the greatest symphonies of all-time, Mozart's Jupiter Symphony. Though this program takes its title from Mozart's last and longest symphony, nicknamed posthumously after the Roman god for its grandness, don't let that eclipse another blockbuster hit on this 67th opening weekend. On the heels of one of Zehetmair's own compositions, Concertmaster Steven Copes and Principal Cello Julie Albers team up for Brahms' Double Concerto--a thrilling back-and-forth between violin and cello that both milks the lowest notes and dances up the finger board, all while keeping you on the edge of your seat.
Please note: All tickets will be held at Will Call. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the concert to pick up your tickets. If you have any questions, or if you or a member of your party have any special accessibility requirements (e.g. wheelchair seating, large print programs, etc.), please contact our Ticket Office.
The Ticket Office can be reached by phone at 651.291.1144 between the hours of 12:00pm-5:00pm Monday through Friday and 11:00am-3:00pm Saturday.
