People flocked to Venice from all over Europe to hear (and see!) Vivaldi’s angels. Our concert features the famous Gloria and Magnificat in its originally intended brilliant sound with an entirely female cast of singers, and Bach’s gorgeous cantata for soprano and solo trumpet Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen, written like a concerto in Italian style.
