Event Details:
Explore the interwoven musical traditions of Spain and Latin America in this program curated by violinist Maureen Nelson. The program opens with the only symphony by the legendary "Spanish Mozart," Juan Crisotómo Arriaga, followed by Andean-inspired music for string orchestra by Gabriela Lena Frank, a wind quintet by Maurice Ravel inspired by Havana, and Renaissance works quoting a Quechua (South American Indigenous) melody arranged by Maureen Nelson.
Please note: All tickets will be held at Will Call. Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the concert to pick up your tickets. Parking Information:
The Ordway is located at 345 Washington Street in downtown Saint Paul, directly across from Rice Park. There are numerous parking ramps within easy walking distance. The closest ramps are RiverCentre, Lawson Commons, Kellogg Street Ramp, and Landmark Towers. There is no direct skyway connection to the Ordway, but if you are coming through the RiverCentre you can get very close to the front door.
