Virtual Tour

Explore Kindertransport - Rescuing Children on the Brink of War during a live, virtual tour via Zoom. Each week will feature an ASI staff member and a special guest. Participants can look forward to a distinct, highly interactive tour led by experts each month. Throughout this series, each speaker will provide a unique perspective on the exhibit's content.

Special Guest: Susie Greenberg, Associate Director of Tolerance Minnesota, a program of JCRC. Susie and Erin Stromgren (Exhibitions Manager at ASI) will provide insights on The Story is Here, the local component for Kindertransport - Rescuing Children on the Brink of War. Together, they will explore stories within that part of the exhibition and discuss stories from exhibition development and research.

Location:
ASI will email you the Zoom link the day before the tour.

Organization Details:

Nearly 90 years ago, a new immigrant to Minnesota had a vision to create a vibrant cultural gathering place. Established in 1929, ASI has evolved into a dynamic arts and cultural center that welcomes all people to gather and share experiences around themes of culture, migration, the environment, and the arts; informed by enduring links to Sweden. From the gallery spaces, featuring local and international exhibitions, to the lively programming set in the historic Turnblad Mansion, to the shop, and award winning restaurant and café – there are many ways to see yourself at ASI and be part of this story.
