Summer Jazz Violin Workshop

Monday August 9 - Wednesday August 11
9 A.M. to 12 P.M. Daily
(For intermediate violin students)
In-Person with safety protocols in place

This 3 day workshop is for violin (only) students looking to branch out from traditional classical violin or who desires to take their improvisation to the next level.

Prerequisites:

Instrument (Violin, bow, and other necessary accessories)
Scales; C Major, G Major, D Major, A Major, F Major, Bb Major through 2 octaves and A Minor, E Minor, B Minor, D Minor, and G Minor through 1 octave
Suzuki Books IV & V

Topics covered include: Ear Training/Critical Listening to identify elements in a performance, Scales within a scale (Modes); I Don't Play Lousy Music Any Longer, Harmony, harmonic function and chord qualities, and more!

Tuition: $270 ($30 Off Original Price is $300)
