The ancient Sumerian epic about the adventures of King Gilgamesh. Including his friendship with a hairy wildman, the battle with the Bull of Heaven, the Tale of the Great Flood, and a quest for immortality!
The late Charlie Bethel was an American bard, a traveling performer with a repertoire of one-man classics. He?d travel to theaters, festivals, pubs and living rooms with his own vigorous adaptations of stories like Beowulf and The Odyssey. This 50-minute version of Gilgamesh is a previously-unseen recording created by Charlie, presented in partnership with the Charlie Bethel Legacy Project.
