Forgotten alchemy. An ancient order. The pursuit of new magic.

A renegade magister's quest threatens the Cabal's very existence. Who should control this ultimate power? Enter the secret society and unlock the truth.

Walking Shadow Theatre Company presents Cabal, a live theater experience with puzzles. An audience of 10 people explores an immersive environment, meeting characters and discovering large-scale, hands-on challenges.

Things to know:

Cabal lasts approximately 80-90 minutes. (It may be more or less, depending on how fast your group is at solving puzzles.)

There is NO LATE SEATING for Cabal. Please arrive 15 minutes early to make sure you get in and comfortably settled.

Patrons who need to leave during the performance cannot be readmitted.

Cabal is a theater performance, but does not have standard theatre seats. As audience members move through the space, they may be asked to be stand or sit. Please be prepared to walk or move at least 600 feet during the course of the event. The venue and experience are wheelchair accessible.

PLEASE ARRIVE SOBER. At the discretion of our staff, anyone who appears to be intoxicated will not be allowed to enter the experience, and no exchanges or refunds will be offered.

Cabal employs a rotating cast of actors. We cannot guarantee which actors will perform for a given performance.

Organization Details:

Walking Shadow Theatre Company is a Minneapolis-based company with a reputation for producing well-staged and carefully researched work. We are drawn to shows that are smart, exciting, savvy—and often a little quirky or subversive. Walking Shadow has been called “a company that deserves attention” by the Star Tribune and praised by Minnesota Monthly for its “polished productions of incisive modern works.” Walking Shadow has performed at a variety of theaters in the Twin Cities since 2004, including the Dowling Studio at the Guthrie Theater, Minneapolis Theatre Garage, Pillsbury House, Red Eye, and others. The company also has appeared several times at the Minnesota Fringe Festival and occasionally produces site-specific, interactive shows with puzzles.
