Virtual Demo: Family Camp Recipes

Wednesday, June 8
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm CST
Instructor: Emily Vikre

Seeking some fun inspiration for outdoor drinks and snacks this summer? Look no further than the new Family Camp Cookbook from Emily Vikre. Emily will share a little about her newest cookbook and talk about pinnebrød, a favorite camping bread from across the Nordic countries. And because Emily owns Vikre Distillery in Duluth, she?ll also show us how to whip up a couple of beverages, one alcoholic cocktail, and one family-friendly option. Recipes will be shared in advance so you can prepare a drink alongside Emily if you like.

Organization Details:

Nearly 90 years ago, a new immigrant to Minnesota had a vision to create a vibrant cultural gathering place. Established in 1929, ASI has evolved into a dynamic arts and cultural center that welcomes all people to gather and share experiences around themes of culture, migration, the environment, and the arts; informed by enduring links to Sweden. From the gallery spaces, featuring local and international exhibitions, to the lively programming set in the historic Turnblad Mansion, to the shop, and award winning restaurant and café – there are many ways to see yourself at ASI and be part of this story.
