The Minnesota debut of this exhibition will be accompanied by The Story is Here, featuring the stories of local families in the Midwest who were personally affected by the Kindertransport.
Health & Safety
In our continued efforts to provide a safe and healthy environment for the staff, volunteers and visitors of ASI, we are adopting and instituting a vaccination policy to help maintain a safe environment for all. In response to the growing number of COVID-19 cases, the rapid spread of the virus and variants, as well as the potential risks to those exposed to the virus, ASI has updated its COVID-19 vaccination and masking policies.
Important information for Museum visits:
- Before arriving at ASI, individuals should self-check for COVID-19 symptoms.
- ASI requires all visitors, staff, and volunteers to wear face coverings while indoors regardless of vaccination status.
- Comply with social distancing between individuals and groups not visiting together.
- Masks may be temporarily removed while eating or drinking, but must be repositioned while not eating or drinking.

Lunch Service: 11 am - 3 pm
Counter Service: 10 am - 4 pm, The Counter will offer the beverage menu during non-serving hours.
The Museum, Cafe, and Store are closed New Years Day, 4th of July, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and December 26.
Parking Information:
Free parking is available in our surface parking lot, located at 27th Street and Park Avenue. Accessible parking is available on the northeast side of the parking lot. Free street parking is readily available on Park Avenue, Portland Avenue and 27th Street.
Accessibility Information:
ASI offers accessible parking, restrooms, listening amplification, and elevator service. Manual wheelchairs are available on request. Sign language interpreters can be arranged with notice and certified service animals are welcome. For more information, call 612-871-4907.
